Okay, here we go...
- make a habit of playing my bass guitar (i brought it back to live with me after a trip home and it's been quietly sitting in the living room, except for the one time we plugged it into the amp and it was pretty sweet.)
- rearrange my playlists so that they make some sort of sense (my recent introduction to spotify has only exacerbated the problem. sigh.)
- maintain a consistent sleep schedule. (this one is fairly obvs.)
- create spotify playlists around certain themes. (i have an idea to create a story through song names alone. or one with only female names.)
- get to posting all 9 pending entries. (well, 8, now...)
- exercise frequently. (must. promote. feelings. of happiness.)
- read more. books. (it's a commitment thing... where i sit with a book and focus on one topic and not a computer and focus on 10 all at once.)
- organize my closet. (otherwise known as throwing a bunch of my boyfriend's shoes in a box to make room for more stuff. my stuff.)
- cut my hair. (putting it off until winter because it will be then when it gets in the way. also, static.)
- grocery shop less, yet "smarter." (i'm not sure why i enjoy it so much to do this frequently...)
- craft often. (pinterest is to blame. now i have two boxes full of glass jars that i don't know what to do with aside from already starting a jar collection.)
- knitting. (it may be a little early, but i'm also really slow and really couldn't care less. plus, it'd be nice to have an actually warm piece of clothing that doesn't just decorate my coat or what i'm wearing.)
What I've done so far...
- attended 95% of my summer classes. willingly. (a lot of motivation comes from actively making an effort to NOT be bored for the rest of the day.)
- biked. (occasionally.)
- made the arduous transition of eating my Chipotle burritos sans tortilla. (because, carbs you guys.)
- gone fishing. and actually caught A fish. (not a shoe. one time i really did reel in a shoe. a whole shoe.)
- high intensity interval training. (i came back for seconds just a couple of days later and NOT several months later due to fear of massive heart explosion.)
- kept myself alive.
We'll stop the list there before I get out of hand with congratulating myself for breathing. Instead, I will leave it open to more bullet points as I finish the summer season.
Or until my next mentally unstable rant pops up.
